Product Overview

     HPE P36509-001 (disk body made by Kioxia, formerly Toshiba Storage) is a high-performance, high durability enterprise grade NVMe solid-state drive. It represents the collaboration between HPE and Kioxia, designed specifically for handling mixed workloads, providing an excellent balance between read and write performance. This hard drive is suitable for enterprise level applications, virtualization environments, and database systems that require sustained high performance and excellent reliability.

1. Core features and specifications

Capacity: 960 Gigabytes (GB)

     Standard enterprise level capacity points ensure long-term performance stability and durability through additional over provisioning.

Interface and Protocol: NVMe 1.3 over PCIe 3.1 x4 Lanes

     Provide high-performance PCIe channels to ensure low latency and high-throughput data access.

Form Factor: 2.5 inches U.2 (SFF-8639)

     Adopting a standard 2.5-inch hard drive appearance, it can be installed into the server's standard 2.5-inch hot swappable disk slots (requiring the server backplane to support NVMe protocol).
